What an awesome evening -- Tim and I went to the Roswell Ghost Tour in Historic Roswell ---sooo cool! Didn't see anything except what I thought may have been a small black shadow in the graveyard (couldn't really tell though). When we were at the bandstand area, I began to feel a tightening around my neck only to be told 5 minutes later by our guide, Ponyboy, that someone had been hung in the exact spot I was standing --eerie.
My first collage box "Dark Rose" -- Materials used: Everything I could find at Hobby Lobby
The poem on the box reads as follows: "
As you hold this in your hand,
Think of me and know that,
If I could, I would gather all the roses that ever bloomed,
wrap them in golden ribbons and lay them at your feet"
Look for it on Etsy today!!!!!!
OMG! What an awesome vacation I had!!!!! So many adventures to tell and so many great memories including the freak we sat next at dinner our first night there (POT! Puck! F***! or whatever the hell he kept saying) , Chiara and Eugenio, the cab driver who whilst smoking a fat daddy going down a curvy road all the time singing an impromptu song "Joint after joint after joint" (ya mon that is how we do it here in Jamaica!), The guy in the hot tub to Tim "Can I give you a hand? Are you sure I can't give ya a hand?", the guy who came out of the bathroom with toilet paper literally stuck to his butt!!! It's one thing to have it stuck to your shoe but on your butt at the naked pool - ahahaha! , The Jamaican man that gave Tim the ULTIMATE compliment, the time we took the taxi and the cab driver, Perry said "Hey mon -we gonna stop at the park first" in the BAD part of town (we were sweating there for a minute --Okay Christine if anything bad happens you just run for the police station and I will be right behind you).....Perry was cool - he knew more about American politics than most Americans. How cool is that driving down the road with a 60 year old Rastafarian cab driver talking about politics? I love to hear what other people from other countries think about us....Plus when we went to Xtabi for dinner --- Me: "Gee I wonder where all the spring break party people are?" Tim: "Gee I just wonder the people are period" Hahahaha! Walking down the beach and trying to avoid the "braid lady" "You sure you don't want ya hair braided mon? Let me put some aloe on you mon -- this is why Jamaicans don't burn because we put aloe on" (Tim laughs) why you laugh mon????? uhhhh..nevermind.....Respect Mon!
